Elderly man commits suicide

Seventy-two-year-old Michael Orlebar of Mill Bank district in Portland is suspected to have committed suicide in his community on Thursday.

Reports from the Mill Bank police are that about 7 p.m., Orlebar was found hanging from a tree by a length of rope. The police were alerted, the scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue, pending further investigations.
