Police seeking ‘Popeye’ for Red Hills, St Andrew gun murder

Detectives assigned to the St Andrew North Police Division are seeking the assistance of the public to locate a man known by the alias 'Popeye' as they investigate a murder case.

The man being sought is Jason Omar Channer, who police say is wanted for the murder of 54-year-old Rohan 'Fatta' Lee.

According to the police, Lee was killed on October 13, 2025, along the Belvedere main road in Red Hills at about 1:30 a.m.

Channer is from the Waggles area of Belvedere in Red Hills, St Andrew.

Anyone with information on Channer's whereabouts is being asked to contact the Constant Spring Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-924-1421 or call 119.
