Two rushed to hospital after motor vehicle crash in Stony Hill, St Andrew

A violent collision along the busy Stony Hill main road left two people fighting for their lives on Tuesday after a motorcycle slammed into a Toyota Prado at the Lipscombe Avenue intersection.

Reports reaching THE STAR are that the crash involved a Prado motor vehicle and a motorcycle carrying a male rider and a female pillion. The impact was severe, leaving both motorcyclists badly injured, bleeding heavily, and suffering what appeared to be broken limbs.

Shocked onlookers rushed to the scene as the injured pair lay on the roadway, while the driver of the SUV appeared to have escaped without serious injuries.

Police transported the injured man and woman to hospital for urgent medical treatment. Their conditions have not yet been disclosed.

Police are continuing their investigations.
